The Fire Precaution (Workplace) Regulations 1997 state that when there is a requirement, non-automatic fire fighting equipment must be indicated by signs in accordance with the Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996. These regulations require the location of all fire fighting equipment to be marked in RED. These signs allow easy identification of the location of fire fighting equipment.
