Medals for Essex's World Class Citizens

Well-deserved recognition was given to outstanding people of all ages at the prestigious Essex Achievement Awards ceremony at Stock Brook Country Club in Billericay.

Former Spurs and West Ham footballer Paul Allen, the youngest player to take part in an FA Cup Final, was a special guest at the awards, held by the Essex Chronicle and Gazette Series, in association with health campaigner Susie Cornell (the original inspiration behind the awards).

The achievements of adults and children who have shown amazing courage against all the odds were put into the limelight. 

Awards were sponsored by Directa, Countryside Properties,  Essex and Suffolk Water Company and Chelmsford Star Co-op.
